Job description: JOB DESCRIPTION The Technology Solutions and Innovation team within KPMG Information Technology Services is dedicated to creating and delivering value to our business by leveraging on Information technology technology. The team is responsible for delivering customer-focused solutions and high quality Information technology services internally to enable our business.
Job responsibilities » Manages and perform end to end Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) of the Information System Projects.
» Troubleshoots, improves and upgrades existing applications.
» Establishes controls to ensure the validity of the data, and develops processes to automate these tasks.
» Performs analysis in data access, data integration, data visualization, database design and implementation.
» Implements the strategy roadmap for enterprise data, implementation, and data management for new data sources, publicly available data, business-to-business partnerships, and data analytics systems.
» Understands and gathers the business requirements and business processes, to design the Data Warehouse (DW) schema, and define Extract-Translate-Load and/or Extract-Load-Translate processes for DW.
» Drives rapid prototyping and design for new projects. Translates broader business initiatives into objectives and concrete goals, aligning appropriately with other groups for efficient and coordinated actions.
» Creates Discover-Access-Distil strategies to bring significant value data knowledge.
» Participates in projects and works with project teams using both Agile and Waterfall methods.
» Draws conclusions and effectively communicates findings with both technical and non-technical team members, providing active leadership abilities skills across project team and business community.
» Performs vendor and product evaluations and delivers solutions, training, and documentation Job Requirements
» Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science or equivalent
» Minimum 3 to 5 years’ of practice in application development.
» skills in SQL, SSRS, ETL, Tableau, Power BI or practice in developing dashboard visualizations.
» Knowledge in areas like jQuery, Angular/Typescript, .NET programming, CI/CD (Jenkins/VSTS) and Micro services.
» Knowledge and working practice with Cloud, AI Automation, Big Data technologies would be advantageous.
» Possess strong analytical abilities, with good documentation and self-management skills. Able to multi-task and work well under pressure.
