Job description: JOB DESCRIPTION (Senior Executive/adjunct Manager)
» Individual practiced in positioning company key messages in the media
» Individual must also be well-versed in digital and social media marketing Key Job responsibilities:
» Actively develop press releases, respond to reactive media requests, and craft media angles to pitch to the media
» Create innovative media campaigns to promote Deloitte’s brand
» Manage the day-to-day relationship with the media, i.e. editors/producers/journalists/reporters.
» Leverage social media, digital platforms and video content to convey corporate culture and talent practice, as well as for the business. Requirements:
» Minimum 3-5 years of working practice in adynamic in-house and/or agency environment.
» Bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing, Mass Communications, Business, or related areas preferred.
» A highly motivated, creative individual with practice and a passion for media relations, including developing and crafting key messages to the media.
» Possess in-depth expertise of the media landscape/trends in Singapore and region, and the capability to be a spin doctor for different media outlets.
» Expert expertise of the use and benefits of social media platforms. Develop and manage the content strategy. Promote content through social and digital advertising.
» Monitors the latest trends in social media and digital platforms, including channels and technologies, and provide recommendations on how to best leverage new tools and services. Compile data across several social media platforms including analysis for insights, optimisations and future strategy developments.
» Possess solid writing, editing and communication skills, with the capability to communicate with different cultures, and with senior management.
» Self-starter, quick-learner, capable of working independently, proactive and able to operate effectively in ambiguity.
