Summary: Ralph Lauren seeks a Process Engineering Supervisor to lead a team in support of operational data collection, analysis and reporting to drive process improvement. The successful candidate must have a history of project- management experience, including developing project plans and executing projects that have exceeded business goals. Extensive knowledge of work analysis tools, process engineering methods and techniques is required.
Primary Responsibilities: § Plan, organize, and lead the implementation and maintenance of engineered time standards for Fulfillment & Distribution Center activities
§ Supervise the Operations Engineering Team, deploy staff appropriately to meet business needs and provide guidance and direction to team members
§ Partner with Operations Management to identify needs and develop solutions through collection, analysis and reporting of operations data
§ Work with Operations Management and Process Teams to identify and document best practices in each operation of the facility
§ Develop and interpret productivity reporting tools for Distribution Center, Fulfillment Center, Customization Department and Contact Center
§ Generate new ideas and methods for enhancing process improvement, and partner with Operations Management to achieve business results
§ Communicate regularly through meetings, feedback sessions and written communications to ensure two way flow of information regarding company and departmental performance, policies and procedures, employee feedback and ideas and recommendations
§ Lead projects as requested
§ Travel as required
Qualifications: § Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
§ Extensive knowledge and at least 5 years of experience with time and motion analysis tools, including time study and time standard development
§ Willingness to spend time on warehouse floor, working with employees to develop and maintain engineered time standards
§ Experience in warehousing/distribution operations including significant planning, analysis and quantitative experience
§ Experience with associate interaction, observation and performance programs
§ Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Word
§ Knowledge of Microsoft Project is a plus
§ Knowledge of AS/400 systems (i.e. Manhattan Associates WM/PkMS) is a plus
§ Passion for providing great service to customers
§ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
§ Able to write and deliver compelling presentations to facility leadership team
§ Able to communicate with customers across all departments, including vendors and contractors
§ Knowledge of Six Sigma methodology is a plus.
§ Knowledge of Multi-variable time studies is a plus.
