Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and enterprising individual who will be the Financial Partner to the Plant Manager and Plant Leadership team. The incumbent will provide comprehensive financial support to 3M Manufacturing plants, includes both accounting and finance counsel to support the plant organization.
Reporting to: Asia Center of Excellence (ACOE) Finance Manager
Location: Tuas / Woodlands
Key Responsibilities: - Financial Partner to Plant manager and plant leadership team to provide financial support and control to deliver Manufacturing operational excellence.
- Ensures Key Plant Financial performance is monitored, and deviations highlighted, and corrective actions implemented to deliver financial results.
- Ensures high accuracy of manufacturing financial data
- Perform unit costs update and pro-actively communicate to the stakeholders and/or division and purchasing subsidiaries.
- Responsible for internal controls at the plant for Finance Manufacturing operations
- Actively involved in LSS project saving calculation and verification.
- Perform timely and accurate month end financial closing in compliance with US GAAP and local accounting standards
- Perform forecasting and annual budgeting for Plant activities, align with Asia COE and Business Groups targets
Qualifications - Degree in Accountancy with at least 5-10 years in MNC environment and minimum 2-3 years manufacturing experience
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and/or Microsoft Power BI and can work resiliently in a hands-on role and a constantly changing environment
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles for financial analysis purposes
- Sound knowledge of US GAAP, SOX and reporting standards
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to interface with all levels of people
