SUMMARY Directs nursing care of the organizationatients and supervises the day-to-day activities performed by clinical staff. Such direction should be in accordance with physician orders and in compliance with the stateurse Practice Act, Federal Regulations and any other regulations defining Georgiaome health services.
The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for the provision of a number of services including: nursing, therapy, MSW and HHA to meet the patientseds and to promote their comfort and dignity.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
Facilitates patient care conferences to assume effective provision and coordinationf care plans. Develops, organizes and directs the day to day functions of the clinical staff.
Admit, discharge and transfer patients; as appropriate in the office or in the field.
Responsible for supply inventory and billing.
Develop aide working assignments, supervisory visits and ensures education hours are met.
Monitors physician services (i.e. documentation, visits, etc.) in accordance with current regulations and patient care plans.
Demonstrate appropriate/effective supervisory skills which ensure corrective action is applied fairly and consistently; without regard to race, color, creed, national origin, age sex, religion, handicap or marital status.
Provides appropriate reports and documentation to support departmental updates, corrective actions and other support as necessary.
Review and respond to complaints/grievances (associate, patient or family) which concern the department; as requested by the supervisor.
Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES Ability to effectively communicate and present information in a clear and concise manner, both orally and in writing.
May be in multiple locations in a workday; patient homes and Amicita offices.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, department heads, administrators, member organization presidents and their leadership teams, and the general public.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Must be a Registered Nurse, in good standing with license in the state of Georgia; including 2 years of home health nursing experience; one year in supervision or nursing service administration.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Supervises the day-to-day activities of home health aides.
LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret document such as safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions provided in written, oral or diagram format. The ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Nursing degree from an accredited College or University; or is a graduate of an approved RN program.
Current license/registration in good standing by state of hire as a RN.
