Job Description Contributor – General Accounting
Key responsibilities: - Responsible for month end closing for Thailand, Hong Kong and Malaysia subsidiaries under supervision of Senior Accountant
- Review intercompany balance elimination for APAC region
Job description: - Prepare month end journals for postings into SAP HANA
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliation/schedules in accordance to US SOX and Local requirements
- Partner with regional APAC finance teams to reconcile monthly intercompany balances
- Calculate Intercompany Service Fee billing for 7 countries
- Liaison with HQ Fixed Asset team on maintenance of Fixed Asset register
- Assists in ad-hoc duties as assigned
Job Requirements Requirements: - Degree in accounting or related field
- CPA, Chartered Accountant or similar qualification a plus
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Advance proficiency in Office Excel
- Proficiency in SAP & Hyperion Essbase
- Prior working experience in an US listed MNC and audit firm is a plus
- Strong interpersonal written and oral communication skills
- Able to manage multiple stakeholders across various levels of seniority
- Able to work independently with high attention to detail.
