Our client is a established European Shipping company. Owning more than 200 vessels, they provide a full range of shipping management and services. As the company is about to engage in a system transformation project, they are looking for talents as Finance Manager to join their high performing finance team.
about the job Reporting to the Financial Controller, you are responsible to manage the full set of office accounts and full spectrum of accounting tasks and to review the work performed by vessel accounts. You are to ensure timely and accurate closing of accounts and submission of monthly financial reports.
At the same time, you will also be in charge of year end consolidation for group accounts and prepare financial statements. Preparation of quarterly, annual office budgets as well as GST submission will also be under you care.
expertise & practice required
To be prosperous in this position, you will need to demonstrate:
» A recognized degree or professional qualification in Accountancy or CPA
» Preferably 5 years of practice in similar capacity and from the shipping industry
