Currently, they are hiring an adjunct finance manager to drive the Singapore business.
about the job Reporting to the Singapore Finance Manager, you will be in charge of looking into the journal entries and to ensure that the accounting treatments are in conformity to the IFRS standards.
You will be involved in the monthly balance sheet schedules reconciliations, the analysis of the profit and loss and balance sheet accounts. You will also participate in month-end closing process to ensure timely submission of accurate financial reports. You will handle the GST and Corporate tax reporting.As there are many long serving staff there, they would like someone new to come in as a fresh pair of eyes to check the all the transactions are done correctly and that the processes can be better improved to enhance working efficiency. You will also need to be familiar with project costing to ensure that the revenue is properly recognised.
expertise and practice required
You should ideally possess a degree in finance/accounting with at least 4 years of working practice. You are practical in your approach, meticulous and can be a business partner. You would also need to be comfortable working independently and be a strong problem solver. Prior practice using SAP will be an advantage for this function.
