As a Roving Patrol Supervisor, you will coordinate security operations at all assigned sites while on duty. This includes post checking sites with manned officers and patrolling sites that are unmanned. If a discrepancy is discovered they are to coordinate the proper handling. This includes responding to the scene, instructing the Security Command Center on proper notification; documentation and notifying client representative and G4S Management. The Roving Patrol Supervisor is responsible for carrying out guidance provided by client within G4S Post Orders and directives.

Role Responsibility: Specific Duties and Essential Functions
- Respond to incidents, alarms & unusual occurrences
- Respond immediately as dispatched by Command Center
- Provide direction and guidance on the proper case handling
- Make sure the incident report is submitted
- Conduct substation checks
- Complete thorough substation checks following current substation checklist
- Report promptly any discrepancies discovered to SCC during substation checks
- Make sure the incident report of substation check discrepancies is submitted
- Oversee Roving Patrol unit
- Ensure that paperwork is in order with regard to Perspective reports
- Review and submit Perspective reports
- Conduct Perspective training as needed
- Establish training program for Roving Patrol and submit for approval
- Conduct Perspective training as needed
- Conduct training of CSOs using approved training
- Conduct training of current Patrol using approved training
- Provide remedial training for Roving Patrol as needed
- Conduct training as new directives are issued by G4S Project Manager
- Conduct site checks
- Visit at least one-site a night during a five-day work week period, visiting assigned sites on a random basis before beginning a new rotation
- Do a walk-through patrol with the officers on duty and be familiar with the post orders
- Provide direction and guidance to the officers on duty at the assigned sites
- Provide guidance, direction and clarity on perspective reports
- Conduct regular inspections at Special Duty assignments
- Submit at the end of each five-day work week a detailed report to the G4S Project Manager in the specified format (separate attachment)
- Review and modifications
- These duties and responsibilities may be subject to modifications and revisions
The Ideal Candidate: Education, Licenses and Certifications Required
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing
- Must have a current California driver's license
Type and Length of Specific Experience Required
- Must possess 1 year of experience in a security or other protective service role
Skills Required - Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Effective oral and written communication skills

- Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively
- Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately
- Attention to detail

- Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher
- Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
- Must be able to work flexible schedules - days and times and are subject to change depending on needs
- Must submit to a pre-employment drug test
- Must submit to an extensive background check, including history, personal references, employment and education verifications, and Department of Motor Vehicle and credit checks if applicable
- Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military
Physical Requirements and Environment
Environment: Indoor and outdoor, temperature ranges from moderate to extreme cold and heat
Major activity: Walking, standing, speaking, listening, observing
Physical efforts to carry out job duties: Standing, lifting, walking, and sitting. Minimal to no stooping or kneeling.
