We are seeking a Quality Control Sequencing Supervisor to assist in leading and providing direction to our Quality Control Sequencing Team. As our QC Sequencing Supervisor, you are experienced in Sanger or Next-Generation Sequencing. You have demonstrated experience in qualifying sequencing assays, and experience working in a GMP environment. You are able to lead through others and promote a positive team environment. You are detail-oriented, precise, and have excellent communication skills.
About the Role: In this role, you will work within Aldevron's sequencing lab performing tasks associated with sequencing of material submitted for analysis. You will generate daily work instructions for the staff, and ensure all lot tracking reporting, status reporting, and applicable laboratory metrics are populated. You will have the opportunity to identify ways to optimize sequencing processes, assay setup, layout, and job execution to improve the lab workflow. You will oversee sequencing personnel and assign responsibilities, establish work hours, and monitor staff performance.
About You: - 3 years or more related experience in Sanger or Next-Generation Sequencing
- Demonstrated experience in qualifyingsequencing assays to be used in a GMP environment
- Experience working within a GMP environment, under a Quality System
- Excellent communication skills as needed for reporting, documentation, and scheduling
- Accurate and precise manual pipetting and measuring techniques
- Positive, can-do attitude
Education - BS/M Degree in Biology, Chemistry or Molecular Biology
