Our company is currently seeking a 2nd shift Production Supervisor located in Brookhaven NY!
This position entails being responsible for organizing all production activities, including assigning, overseeing, and reviewing the work of all employees in the production department working on the 2nd shift.
Work hours are from 3PM - 12AM MONDAY - FRIDAY (there may be occasional Saturdays)
Duties include as follows
- Supervise all production activities
- Monitoring employees performance and ensuring everyone is meeting company expectations in for output
- Establishing and properly training all production technicians
- Maintaining a clean & organized work station
- Assist in inventory and supplies as needed
- Ensuring all documentation and logs are reported
- Complies to OSHA standards
- Complies with cGMP requirements
Working hours: 3pm - 12am
Skills: Qualifications - Experience in pharmaceutical or food industry
- Supervisory or management experience is a must
- Spanish/English
- Experience in GMP environment
- Excellent writing skills
- Batch record, SOP experience
- Knowledge of GMP's, ISO and FDA guidelines related to industry
- Familiar with OSHA procedures
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
