Due to evolving business needs, we are currently recruiting for a Finance Manager, Financial Accounting Reporting to be based in the Singapore office. Big 4 Managers/Senior Managers are welcomed to apply for this role.
The Role Reporting to the Financial Controller and working in a team, you will be responsible for leading financial accounting, reporting and audit activities of the Group and its subsidiaries in compliance with FRS, regulations, group accounting policies and guidelines. You will also be collaborating with the management accounting team in meeting the management reporting requirements of the Group. The key responsibilities include actively planning and managing quarterly reporting, implementing of new and revised accounting standards, evaluating the impact of developments in financial reporting, tax and regulatory regime and recommend course of action. Ensure the integrity of the financial data used for financial and management reporting requirements as well as documenting and maintaining all group accounting policies and reporting processes. You will also be responsible for prompt and timely completion of external audits and tax reporting (GST, corporate tax and withholding tax).
Your Profile To qualify for this role, you must have a Bachelor Degree in Accountancy with minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Big 4 or Big 4 and commercial financial accounting and reporting experience within the shipping industry. It is essential to be strong in MS Excel and have good knowledge in IFRS and FRS. We are looking for a meticulous, analytical, inquisitive team player with excellent communication skills.
