CNC Supervisor - 2nd Shift
JOB DESCRIPTION CNC 2nd Shift Supervisor
Position Overview: This position serves as the focal point of all shift operations and requires coordination of work with other supervisors, machinists, sub-contractors, engineering and management to ensure timely delivery of quality parts. Reports to the Plant Manager. As a full time employee we offer company paid healthcare, 401k, paid vacation and a pay rate depending on experience.
Requirements and Responsibilities:
- Minimum 3 yearsperience with operation of 3 and 4 axis CNC Machines, tool setup, and inspection in a production environment
- Minimum 2 yearsperience managing schedules, workflow, safety, personnel and equipment in a production environment
- Experience with Microsoft excel, word, and outlook
- Able to read blueprints, work instructions, record dimensions on forms and possess basic math skills
- Clean, minor repair and perform preventive maintenance on CNC machinery
- Manage employee safety and have a thorough understanding of MSDS
- Inspect completed work for conformance to specification using tools such as calipers, height gauges, micrometers, bore gages and rulers etc.
- Enhance employee value and growth thru a performance management system
- Able to be on your feet consistently for 8 to 9 hrs.
- Must have reliable transportation and be able to be at work for every scheduled shift.
