Description The Company Our client is a SGX listed company with over 80 years of history and has matured market presence globally. They are now the industry leader of shipping and maritime sectors. With further expansion of the team, they are now partnering with us to seek for a Senior Finance Manager to cover the day-to-day accounting function, management reporting and lead the accounting team.
The Role Reporting to Group Financial Controller, you will be heading the accounting team and monitor the day-to-day operational accountin. In addition, you will be supporting the group financial reporting, making sure adheres to the IFRS standards. Lastly, you will also take part in the new system implementation projects and business partnering with various international and local stakeholders.
Your Profile To be a successful candidate, you must have a Degree in Accounting, with at least 7 years of financial accounting exposure, preferably from shipping and maritime industry. Experience from external audit (Big 4) will be a bonus. And must be familiar with IFRS and SGX reporting standards. Any prior team management/ leadership exposure is preferred. Additionally, you must be detailed oriented, and demonstrate effective communication skills to liaise with Multi stakeholders.
