The Land Oes Supply Chain & Operations division provides strategic leadership across the companyany business units. The team plays a significant role in fueling revenue growth and profitability through operational excellence, quality, process improvement and innovation. By partnering closely with Finance, Marketing and Human Resources, the team delivers value to Land Oes business units, members and customers.
Position Purpose: To lead our second shift team to successful completion of the following:
-Creating a safe working environment for all employees
-Executing the daily production schedule
-Work with the team on TMM (Total Margin Management) projects
-Strive for continual improvement through process improvement teams and other projects
-Ensure compliance with state and federal regulatory agencies
-Will be responsible for Safety, Quality and other various duties related to industry GMP's within the facility
-Create and execute Line Efficiency projects
Experience-Education (Required):
4-year degree in an agriculture or management related field of study and 2+ Yearsperience in a leadership role.
Competencies-Skills (Required):
-Must be able to work independently as required for a second shift supervisor position
-Must be a change leader in an ever-changing environment
Experience-Education (Preferred):
4-year industrial engineering or management degree, with 2 yearsperience in a commercial feed mill environment.
Competencies - Skills (Preferred):
-Must demonstrate strong work ethic, with effective people and communication skills
-The candidate needs the ability to organize, multi task and possess above average computer skills. Conflict resolution skills are required
