Pharmacy Supervisor
Supervise daily operations in the main hospital pharmacy. Must have the ability to manage workload, supervise pharmacists and pharmacy technicians and resolve daily challenges independently. Will be able to thrive in a fast paced hospital environment with a level 1 Trauma Center. Must be an excellent communicator and have the ability to effectively lead a team and foster working relationships with peers, nurses and physician as well as other staff. Will also have interaction with pharmacy students and interns. Qualifications
At least 3 years of pharmacy supervisory experience:
2 years hospital experience preferred Graduate of an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy.
1 or 2 Year ASHP Residency preferred.
Virginia Board of Pharmacy License or the ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
Must possess extensive understanding of hospital pharmacy practice.
Experience with Epic is a plus.
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to motivate and lead a team
