Randstad is assisting in finding a 3rd shift Warehouse Supervisor who will be responsible for day-to-day production. Supervises, motivates, and supports the team members daily, applying a team approach and maintaining open communication. Performance Supervisor is the guardian of all the process implemented by the company's continuous improvement manager/performance manager are being executed by the process operators on a consistent basics. Establishes and maintains effective communication with the team members helping them to keep the pace in order to achieve hourly production goals. Contribute to a work environment that fosters pride in being part of a winning team. This position is accountable for meeting the department production and quality goals, as well as playing a key role in meeting the companywide profitability and customer satisfaction goals: Trusted advisor and value partner for our customers.
Position duties - Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor that reflects Company's commitment to quality, continuous improvement and respect for individuals
- Ensuring that the area under his/her management comply with all OSHA safety requirements
- Actively and constantly communicate with team members production expectations, safety and quality awareness
- Ensure process operators perform designated process on a consistent basis
- Maintaining a consistent throughput to meet daily expectation by flexing workforce to eliminate bottle necks and keep the pace
- Specifying preferred outcomes, called goal setting, for the team members, and ensure consistent processes are utilized throughout his/her department
- Conducting hourly ongoing measurements and observations to track team members performance exchanging ongoing feedback with them
Working hours: 3rd shift, 10:15pm-7am

--Use standards for evaluating the achieved outcomes in terms of below expectations, exceeds expectations, and meets expectations.
--Conducting a performance appraisal or performance review and reward for performance if an team member meets the desired performance level-- Utilize lean manufacturing principle to handle the performance gap, if a team member does not meet the required performance level.
--Desire and ability to successfully lead team member
--High school's degree and five (5) or more years of related business experience required
--Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written and task oriented
--Training in Lean manufacturing principles and Kaizen facilitation
--Strong leadership skills, ability to learn and apply new concepts and overcome obstacles with change
--Ability to work with and influence others in a fast paced environment, ability to work shifts as required
--Six Sigma Green Belt Certified as a Plus
--Basic-Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft word and Excel
