Open Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for Warehouse Supervisor position.
This position plans and organizes the receiving, storage and distribution of all items received from suppliers, ensuring a smooth and consistent operation so parts and supplies are located and distributed to proper departments in an effective and efficient manner as needed to satisfy internal and external customer requirements. Manages inventory through database and maintain levels required on a daily basis to meet production demands.
Specific Accountabilities:
- Maintain warehouse appearance and organization through general cleaning and upkeep, assessing layout for space optimization, verifying racking and storage devices are in good condition, and bin locations are updated correctly labeled.
- Monitors and measures receiving and warehouse performance for accuracy of locator, receiving reporting, movement and storage of material, and transfers to service parts.
- Enter data for quantities of parts issued and transferred between locations, inventory and cycle count adjustments, into computer database.
- Set up logistics in warehouse to track all of instrument parts upon arrival.
- Verify packing slips, quantity, and conformity of goods upon receiving and work with purchasing to resolve discrepancies.
- Track non-inventory items using kanban or similar material reordering system.
- Maintains inventory by conducting monthly physical counts; reconciling variances; inputting data.
- Moves inventory by scheduling materials to be moved to and from warehouse; coordinating inventory transfers with related departments.
- Work in conjunction with production, supply chain, and customer service to set and maintain site inventory levels
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
The Candidate: Ideally, candidates have experience working in a global role for a company in the agriculture sector.
Qualifications and Experience: High school diploma or GED, or equivalent years of experience
Forklift experience required
Ability to lift 50lbs without assistance
Valid driver's license
Minimum 5 years' experience in warehouse and production environment highly preferred.
Microsoft Office Applications Required with Intermediate Excel Skills highly preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, Ability to work independently, and basic math skills.
