To be successful in this role you would need:
- PSPC-Recognized Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent is preferred.
- Minimum 2 - 5 years (QS) or 6 - 12 (Senior QS) post-graduate relevant working experience from a consultancy background.
- Working towards MRICS or MSISV status or member of RICS or SISV.
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
- Strong organisational and record-keeping skills.
- Experience in mentoring junior Quantity Surveyor (for Senior QS role).
- Familiar with CostX measurement software.
- Immediate availability is highly preferred.
Job Description Working with Project Managers you will be responsible for a gamut of activities and responsibilities. The role covers report writing and producing monthly cost report, interfacing with client and consultants and timely cost checking of variation. In addition:
- As a core responsibility Senior/Quantity Surveying role will involve cost planning and estimation.
- You will be responsible for tender preparation, evaluation of tenders, contract compilation, valuation of payment and variation and project finalisation.
- In terms of other technical responsibilities you will assist in feasibility studies, value management, life-cycle costing and contract management. pre and post contract quantity surveying services.
- Valuation of payments and variations, and project account finalization.
- Identification, management and reporting in relation to project budget and risk.
- Mentoring of Junior Quantity Surveyors for Senior Quantity Surveyor role
- Site visits and client meeting where necessary

Job Profile As a Senior/ quantity surveyor you will be assisting the Project Manager in pre and post contract quantity surveying services. We work on a variety of types of large infrastructure projects and building projects with a focus on Singapore. The role involves cost planning and estimation, tender preparation, evaluation of tenders, contract compilation, valuation of payment and variation and project finalisation. In addition, you will be responsible for feasibility studies, value management, life-cycle costing and contract management.
The role also covers report writing and producing monthly cost report, interfacing with client and consultants and timely cost checking of variation.
