Candidate Specification - Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- 10+ years of water treatment design experience.
- A reputation in the water treatment field and significant experience in a wide range of water treatment and desalination technologies, including ideally experience across both the municipal and industrial sectors.
- Experience leading bids, writing technical proposals and reports.
- Demonstrated experience interacting with Clients and Contractors.
- Strong desire to assist in developing water/wastewater business.
- Sound knowledge of the regulatory and operating environment of water authorities.
- Chartered Professional Engineer (preferred).
- Previous experience working in South-East Asia (preferred).
- Demonstrated experience in identifying new project opportunities (preferred).
Job Description Our Water team comprises of highly experienced water resources, civil, mechanical, electrical, process engineers and environmentalists supported by a network of budding young engineers. With the growing demand for our services, we are looking to supplement our team with highly motivated and skilled engineers to continue to deliver value added and high calibre solutions to our clients .
You will be part of a multi-cultural team and expected to be involved in:
- Leading the technical delivery of water treatment / desalination projects.
- Working with the East Asia Water Sector management team to promote and develop Mott MacDonald's presence in the regional treatment market.
- Responsible for supporting high level client relationships, to support Mott MacDonald's marketing efforts in the Water Treatment sector.
- Technical Review of various water projects to ensure delivery to scope, time, budget and quality requirements.
- Providing technical mentorship for a team of 10 water (process, mechanical, civil and electrical) engineers.
- Liaising with Resource Manager based in Singapore to ensure collaboration of resources across SEA, and to support APNA and the global pursuits and project delivery.
- Assisting in knowledge sharing within East Asia and the global water practice.
