An exciting Private Equity Analyst (e-Commerce/Fintech) job has just become available at one of the most respected global asset management firms based in Singapore. Playing an important role in the management of the India private equity fund, this is a role for an analyst in the e-commerce/fintech/SaaS industry who wishes to make their mark in asset management.
About the Private Equity Analyst (e-Commerce/Fintech) Role:
In this business critical role, you will be responsible for the business and financial analysis of existing companies within the current investment portfolio, delivering the highest quality reports to portfolio managers. You will also be involved in the assessment of competitive landscape and new business initiatives for existing portfolio.
Key Responsibilities: - Extensive financial and business analysis of portfolio companies to assess their profitability and potential within the portfolio
- Generate precise and detailed management reporting
- Assess competition within the e-commerce space
- Provide ongoing monitoring of assets with the firm's portfolios including review of monthly operating results and maintaining project performance
- Establish and maintain relationship with portfolio companies
- Travelling to domicile countries of holding companies to speak with the representatives from portfolio companies
Key Requirements: - A strong bachelor's degree from a reputed institution, preferably in Finance
- 2-3 years of work experience involving business analytics/strategy planning in/for e-commerce/fintech/SaaS companies is a must
- Must be comfortable with travelling and working with a diverse set of companies across different time zones and culture, majority based in major cities in India
- Preference for candidates with prior experience in FP&A, consultancy or consumer tech/SAAS/Fintech/B2b startups
