The Florida Club is seeking a full time Assistant Golf Course Superintendent to work in their Stuart, Florida facility. Golf amenities include an 18 hole golf course (which is newly renovated & scheduled to reopen on Saturday, March 10th), driving range & practice area. Benefits offered for this postion will include 401K, Health Insurance, PTO & Vacation Pay. The Florida Club is a Drug Free Workplace & will perform a background check once employment is offered.
Requirements Educational Requirements: - High School Diploma
- Turf Management Degree 2 or 4 years or working towards a degree
Experience Requirements: - Ability to diagnose pest, nutrient, moisture, or other turf issues
- Strong and personable personnel management skills
- Capable of high physical demands
- Must have golf course experience
Special Requirements:
- Working with the golf course management team to provide the most competitive golf course conditions in the region
- Demonstrating knowledge in irrigation control/repair and/or pesticide & fertilizer applications
