One of our clients, a reputable Wholesale distributor is currently looking for a dedicated and hardworking Supervisor. The shift is from 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM Monday - Friday

This entry level position is designed for someone who is looking to begin their career by making an impact with a leadership position at one of the fastest growing businesses in South Florida.

After learning the products and the process by working directly with team members of the floor he / she will supervise, train, motivate, and drive continuous improvement of manufacturing operations to achieve performance goals in the areas of Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost/ Efficiencies.

Responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):

-Lead and support day-to-day production activities within assigned area of responsibility to ensure 99.9% On-time delivery (OTD), Quality errors >1% in an accident free environment

- Ensure workers acquire necessary knowledge of methods, procedures, and standards required for performance of departmental duties as well as holding them accountable to meet efficiency standards while demonstrating core values.

- Ensure machinery is operating efficiently and safe.

- Work with team members to suggest and implement process improvements and actively champions safety programs.

- Document and improve standard work to improve training of employees and facilitate cross-training

Working hours: M-F 6:00 am to 3:30 pm

Skills:

--Ability to set and prioritize goals

--People skills (Ability to develop relationships and hold people accountable)

--Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, etc.) and e-mail

--Associates degree or equivalent experience

--Hands-on work

--Enjoys a fast-paced role and an ever-changing environment

--Goal/task oriented

-- Some managing of experience of at least 10 people

-- Shipping experience
