What you'll do - Responsible for identifying and developing non-traditional distribution channels in different markets across Asia
- Proactively engage key partners to communicate business strengths and brand value
- Establish and drive a new business through strategic thinking, sales planning and tactics, team building and management, as well as acquiring and/or developing new services or technologies that improve our capabilities
- Develop necessary internal processes, standards, operating procedures, budget and strategies required based on business needs
- Build and manage a cohesive and high-performing team, create a robust culture and provide the necessary resources to ensure that the team is successful
- Manage resources across different markets based on strategic priorities and within set budgets
- Execute business plans, monitor/review of business metrics and performance on an ongoing basis, and take necessary actions to ensure delivery of successful business outcomes
- Report to senior management on sales activity, pipeline and team performance
- Work closely with various functions in the company to ensure that the team is aligned with company's long term goals and strategies
What you'll need - BS/MS degree
- At least 7 years of sales/partnership experience in the travel industry with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- You are experienced in crafting sales strategies and P&L management
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong execution capabilities
- Strong track record in identifying, qualifying and closing business
- You are an articulate professional with exceptional communication skills and strong influencing abilities who is comfortable interfacing with all levels of management (internally and externally)
- Willing to travel as needed to build the business across different markets
