Randstad Inhouse Services is currently looking for a Weekend shift supervisor for on of the nation's leading third party logistics company.

Duties:

Weekend Shift Supervisor is responsible for the operational function(s) for assigned work group(s) in a logistics operation. This position provides direct supervision and ensures compliance with company and location policies, procedures and work instructions in order to provide a safe and productive work environment, optimum customer service and accurate records. May interact with carriers and/or the customer based on the complexity and scope of the account. All work is subject to review by the CLM/LM/SLM and Ryder Corporate Process Owners such as Finance, Human Resources, Safety, etc.

Working hours: Morning/Afternoon 8am-6:30pm Fri-Mon

Skills:

- Ability to effectively communicate in both verbal and written forms with employees, peers, and management

- Strong organizational, follow-up, and computer skills required

- Ability to work self directed with minimal supervision

- Ability to manage individual performance and employee relations

- Ability to use sound judgement when information is incomplete or ambiguous

- Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) (Intermediate level, Preferred)

- Knowledge of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) depending on position (Intermediate level)

- Knowledge of OSHA required; DOT and Hazmat knowledge based on the account b (Intermediate level)
