Strategize, identify and promote horizontal development of sales channels;
Manage channel relationships with existing partners;
Build relationships with new partners;
Identify key travel shows in the region and negotiate attending the same to generate business contacts;
Maintain a stable relation with travel trade peers;
Report on competitive intelligence and market knowledge;
Identify and tap regional corporate sales channels;
Able to prioritize business channels based on business volume generated;
Manage and liaise between regional accounts and HQ operations teams on administration matters;
Sales visits and reporting.
What you'll need:
Bachelor degree in travel/ hotel management field preferred;
4 years working experience with at least 2 years in Travel and tourism industry;
A clear understanding of outbound and local travel trade and economy of the region;
Familiarity and personal connections in the industry;
Able to report on market intelligence, competitor analysis, and make recommendations towards sales and work flow processes;
Skilled with Excel formulas, pivot tables and data analysis
Ability to plan and execute market level initiatives with result driven goals;
Fluency in spoken and written English and Mandarin;
Multi-tasking and maintains a professional approach in handling different tasks;
Globally-minded and comfortable working with people from different cultural background;
A start-up attitude – highly collaborative with an entrepreneurial, roll-up-your sleeves attitude that's not afraid to work independently when required.
