Client Details Our client in the travel & tourism industry has had a successful track record in the Asia region and is now keen to further expand their presence internationally. As a result, we are looking for a high calibre Managing Director that can lead and take the business to the next phase of growth.
Description As the leader of the business, you will work closely with the Board and Executive Leadership team to plan and execute the expansion strategy. Leading a current team of dedicated and passionate professionals, you will continue to inspire, cultivate and develop the team ensuring they work towards a common goal. You will also make necessary transformation with the objective of driving business efficiency, profitability and scalability. As a key leadership role, you will be responsible to create and build a strong vision and team to ensure the company continue to progress and prosper in a very dynamic and competitive environment.
Profile The ideal candidate should possess at least 15 years of relevant working experience in the travel, leisure, hospitality, OTA or relevant consumer service industry. You should demonstrate a proven track record of success of growing a business and have had full P&L responsibility. Sales, membership acquisition and customer development experience is essential. You are a strategic thinker, analytical and possess a keen eye for details. A strong personal presence combined with a desire to make positive contributions to the business are critical to the success of this position. You have also worked in a multicultural environment and is culturally sensitive.
