Job Description Provides a deep understanding of relevant aspects of airline and airport operations business and core processes. Executes a well planned business development plan and schedule with the ultimate goal to exceed a given monetary target. Represents the business value, key functions and related business process for the entire Sabre Operations portfolio. Fully understands all core aspects of the underlying technology and the portfolio integration. Clearly articulates every aspect of the Sabre advantage in the market place. Highly skilled sales-oriented professional that operates in a pursuit leadership function to guide a team of solution managers, account managers, project and delivery experts to qualify a lead, define the appropriate solution offering, manage the internal financial approval process and proposal generation in a disciplined well documented process. Able to build confident and long lasting relationships and will lead any sales pursuit from inception to final contract execution including customer negotiations. Strong communication and relationship skills and is willing to continuously update their domain knowledge as well provide relevant and timely feedback to the senior management, account management, solution management and marketing about status and direction of any pursuit. Keeps internal reporting updated very timely so that the internal organization obtains an accurate status of key pursuits. Provides valuable feedback on competitive market information and specific market demand or customer requirements that will help Sabre solutions to stay relevant and ahead of the competition. Self driven individual plays a key leadership role within a well defined pursuit management team. Seeks customer proximity and attends industry events as well as processes frequent industry news in order to generate new leads continuously to support the business development function.
Job Requirements EDUCATION: Please contact your Human Resources Representative. EXPERIENCE: Minimum 12 years experience in similar or comparable job; deep knowledge of airline and airport operations. Must possess advanced computer software skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to handle multiple projects/activities simultaneously essential. Mature negotiation and presentation skills aside from language skills are essential assets for a successful job execution. Extensive travel on a regular basis to support onsite engagements and lead pursuits with customers in a personal relationship.
