IT Project Manager, Program Delivery

Reporting to the Senior Manager, you will lead and drive application projects to support business requirements. In this role, you will be involved in program development, applications maintenance support and project management tasks.
Responsibilities: - To manage the project and report regularly against the project plan to ensure visibility of project progress.
- To develop project plan, scope, key stakeholder requirements
- To provide justifiable local solutions if business requirement cannot be met by core applications.
- To monitor investment cost, ensure adequate resources are available.
- To compliment application solution support on daily IT related incident especially priority and critical outages.
- To provide user training and user support.
- To track high priority service related incidents and ensure root cause analysis and fault resolution is coordinated and delivered to avoid recurrence of issues.
- Determine business needs and requirements to formulate business system requirements.
- Drive and support digitalization initiatives to derive business values through leveraging on new technologies.
- Ensure system design fulfill business requirements.
- Liaise between central IT team and business users to ensure local business needs are communicated to and understood by central IT team.
- Determine and advise core application to fulfill local business requirements.
- Ensure local solution delivers functionalities according to agreed business requirements.
- Monitor the progress of local requirement implementation.
- To engage vendors (as required), ensuring project specifications and Service Level Agreements are met.
- Provide supports to Customer Facing IT Team.
- Develop and/or liaise with third party software/hardware service providers to provide local solutions.
Requirements: - Degree in Information Services/ Business ( or equivalent)
- 5 years' experience in Business system or support environment, preferably in logistics industry
- Proactive and able to work under pressure and tight deadlines
- Strong teamwork / collaboration skills with good oral and written communication skills
- Programming language : C#, Java, Php, VB
Technical expertise in:
Knowledge in business application development life cycle
Hand on experience in application development
Some knowledge in telecommunications and networking
Some knowledge in the latest technology trend
