Turner Industries Group is looking for Night Shift Supervisor in the Omaha, NE area. The Shift Supervisor will be responsible for the following:
- Experience in promotion and enhancement of safety culture
- Perform initial quality checks on all lines before the start of shift
- Ensure all shift paperwork is in order for the line startups
- Assign crews to lines and lead shift startup meeting
- Ensure overall quality and safety
- Verify all paperwork in accurate and completed in a timely manner
- Handle all personnel issues, safety concerns, and safety incidents
- Document any inefficiencies and assist with Lean Ideas
- Ability to adjust plans and manpower on an as needed basis
Shift Supervisor will also need:
- Great public speaking and interpersonal & written communication skills
- Emphasis on safety and detail-oriented
- Advanced microcomputer application skills (MS Office Advanced User)
- Advanced organization and planning skills
- Must be able to Lead a group of up to 35 people
- Stay composed under pressure
Additional Information / Requirements:
- Schedule: Night Shift; Sunday 10 pm - 7 am; Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 6:30 pm - 6:30 am; Thursday 7 pm - 3 am; Friday 7 pm - 3 am (if needed)
- Occasional Overtime as needed
- Must have valid driver's license
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience required
- Previous safety expereience, preferred
- Mandatory Background Check & Drug Testing
Per diem and relocation are not available for this position; the successful candidate will be a current resident in the Omaha, NE area.
