As part of Worldwide Commercial Finance, you will work closely and collaboratively with partners, customers, Field Sales Teams, other Licensing Executives, Commercial Executives, One Commercial Partner, Corporate, External Affairs & Legal (CELA), Finance, Product Marketing, Engineering and Volume Licensing Operations. In addition to your work structuring and negotiating individual through-partner deals, you would be empowered to share your insights and experiences to help drive the future of the through-partner business. As the single approver, you will own the negotiation of deals with partners and customers in various partner-led programs.

- Directly negotiate complex terms and conditions necessary to close through-partner deals and negotiate reseller contracts. (60%)
- Delivering expert knowledge of Microsoft volume licensing programs, negotiation strategies, and best practices to the Commercial Field Sales VP/GM/Directors, Account Managers, other Licensing Executives, Commercial Executives, and others within the Commercial organization. (20%)
- Proactively identify and recommend solutions for improving partner-led licensing programs, contract negotiations and Field Sales processes. (20%)
- At least 5 years of technology industry experience.
- Customer sales experience with partner technology sales experience, a plus.
- Understanding of sales operations for compliant deal closure and delivery.
- Demonstrated decision-making, problem solving and complex negotiation experience.
- Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, independently directed with a desire to embrace autonomy.
- Proven ability to work well with cross-functional groups and virtual teams, and to effectively collaborate with others to achieve important objectives.
