JOB SUMMARY Supervises NCS staff within the Self Pay department. Hires, trains, schedules and develops NCS staff including the performance evaluation process. Regularly reviews reports monitoring the performance of their area of responsibility within the Self Pay Department. Demonstrates productive management techniques and consults with Operations Manager to implement processes. Frequently interacts with internal and external resources at multiple levels. Effectively directs subordinates to attain desired results. Completes quality monitoring on all staff.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Others may be assigned.
Oversees, plans, organizes and directs the daily activities of subordinates within the Self Pay department.
Manages the operational performance of their unit of responsibilities including, but not limited to, monitoring daily Noble statistics and month-to-date collection totals; surfaces relevant issues; analyzes and develops necessary corrective actions.
Responds to emails and phone messages to resolve client, patient and employee issues that cannot be resolved at the collector level. Works daily inventory residing on the designated Supervisor unit.
Hires, trains and coaches the collectors within their assigned area of responsibility in reaching new levels of skill and knowledge. Ensures timely completion of annual reviews for all subordinates. Ensures (via quality checks) that all staff is performing at a high quality level. Perform monthly spot checks and review with employees on a monthly basis.
Reviews, monitors and develops action plans utilizing various reports such as Flash reports, Facility Flash, Desk Inventory, collection totals, Noble statistical and client status reports. Completes account and/or facility audits as necessary. Creates reports and/or documents such as Policy & Procedures, Month End, Memorandums and reference materials.
Holds staff meetings to communicate to all subordinates any developments or information necessary for them to fulfill their responsibilities. Participates in management and senior management meetings such as scheduled. Maintains strategic alignment with branch and company business objectives.
Chairs and/or participates in Conifer committees such as the Rooted in Community group.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with guidelines, policies and procedures and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

Associates degree in Business Management/Administration or equivalent related business experience.
