Accenture Security help organizations in their management of information and technology risks by delivering end-to-end solutions, using proven methodologies and tools in a consistent manner. We're seeking exceptional individuals to pioneer security solutions that blend risk strategy, digital identity, cyber defense, application security and managed services. Using the coolest next-gen tech, you'll have every chance to stay one step ahead of cybercrime and out-hack the hackers.
- Analyze traffic and spot the top blocks/ drops to identify if there could be any potential business impact due to the IPS drops
- Check if there are any risky ports/ services being used currently that would need to be blocked immediately on the firewall and an alternative found
Activities outline:
- Daily review of the alerts on the FMC and use the log data from tools like Splunk to analyze the traffic
- Provide a weekly summary report, from the FMC console and supplement that with their own findings to show progress on weekly reduction on false positives
- Work with Network, Local Security team as needed to get clarity on any genuine business traffic that may need to be allowed on the firewalls
- Identify risk services/ port open that we would need to stop using/ find alternatives
- Attend Weekly review call without fail, and provide a debrief of the weeks work
- Traffic sizing - 8 sites across 2 countries to begin with and later additional 20+ sites across a 3rd country
