Overview The Senior Supervisor supports production by supervising the daily production line activities.
Shift: Thurs thru Sat e/o Wed, 6pm-6:30am
Responsibilities Essential Duties & Responsibilities Percentage of Time

Supervises the filling line(s) to ensure Standard Operating Procedures, current Good Manufacturing Practices and Safety Practices are adhered to. Represents the Filling department as a decision maker in the absence of Filling Management. Supports the Quality group during investigations.

Performs the activities of a Supervisor at a high level of competence and experience.

Ensures production staffing is adequate to support the production schedule.

Clearly communicates with subordinates and superiors any directions, issues, etc.

Hires, trains, evaluates and disciplines personnel.

Reviews documentation, including batch records, logbooks, cleaning records, etc, for accuracy and completion.

Writes, revises and trains on Standard Operating Procedures within the department.

Participates in continuous improvement projects.

Supports Pilot Test Runs, Validation Runs, Engineering Runs and other requirements needed from the Filling Department.

Ensure sterile injectable products are manufactured in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures, current Good Manufacturing Practices and Safety Policies

- Mechanical aptitude with thorough knowledge of machinery processes in an aseptic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications Position Requirements: Education Required: Bacheloregree in Science or related fields or equivalent experience.
Education Preferred:
Experience Required: Minimum of three years supervisory experience.
Experience Preferred:
Minimum of five years supervisory experience.
Specialized or Technical Knowledge Licenses, Certifications needed:
Sterile/aseptic pharmaceutical manufacturing.
