About This Opportunity We are seeking energetic, forward thinking professionals to join our Global Human Health Information Technology group in a period of exciting change – where we are transforming the organization to be more digital. You will have the opportunity to work on global teams to identify the biggest opportunities as well as tackle the biggest challenges at the intersection of healthcare, information and technology. You will:
- Collaborate across IT and commercial business units to configure and deploy CRM capabilities globally
- Contributes as part of a cross-functional team to the delivery of product releases against a prioritised set of requirements. Advises Development Lead on work packages and delivers in a timely manner
- Responsible for CRM solution integration into the sales and marketing ecosystem
- Partner with technology vendors on solution architecture and product features
- Provide effort estimates and guidance for associated development work in the portfolio
- Drive continuous improvement of the Integrated CRM platform
- Become fully conversant with MSD systems development life cycle methodology and understand regulatory and compliance needs relevant to CRM in the Life Sciences industry
- Actively collaborate and share knowledge across MSDIT
Qualifications - To be successful to the role, ideally you will need to have a Master of Science/ Bachelor of Science in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Economics, Business Management or Marketing with 2-5 years’ experience in commercial (sales / marketing / CRM) environment
- Motivated team player with excellent interpersonal skills
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience working with CRM tools such as SFDC, Siebel, Veeva, SugarCRM or Service Cloud.
- Demonstrate experience of integrating email solutions into a digital ecosystem and be familiar with consent/opt-in management and customer segmentation
- Strong analytical thinker and problem solving skills
- Experience working independently and collaboratively within a geographically disbursed environment
- Ability to self-learn and develop business and technical knowledge quickly and apply these to the business problems
- Have participated in, or be familiar with, Agile (Scrum) project methodology and practices is preferred
- Knowledge of Visual Force, SFDC APEX, SQL, XML, HTML, Eclipse, Java, Javascript; Apex data loader
- Experience with cloud-based / SaaS solutions is a distinct advantage
- Functional background and knowledge of sales business processes. Experience in Life Sciences would be of advantage
