Micron's Global Communications and Marketing organization is seeking an employee communications professional to join our Employee and Executive Communications team.

We are looking for a driven individual who is passionate about employee engagement, culture and the role that employee communications can play in helping to achieve business goals. You will work with the team to build compelling content and experiences that help inform and inspire our 34,000 team members around the world.

The ideal candidate is creative, brings bold ideas and is has a passion for storytelling. The candidate should be an excellent teammate and relationship builder, with outstanding writing and project management skills. To excel in this position, you must be able to think strategically to help craft communications campaigns and plans, while also be willing and able to execute and see plans through to completion.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Serve as communications consultant and strategist for your internal clients.
• Implement thoughtful, innovative and engaging communications that build on and enhance Micron's vision, mission and people values.
• Understand the communications needs of various internal audiences (i.e., field, senior leaders, managers, all employees, wired/non-wired team members) for your programs and suggest appropriate tactics to effectively reach each audience and deliver your key messages.
• Work with the broader Employee and Executive Communications team, as well team members in our brand, content, editorial and digital marketing teams to develop and execute creative and compelling communications across our internal and external communications channels, as appropriate.
• Work with our video production team to concept, script and help manage employee videos as needed.
• Support execution of company-wide all-hands, leadership meetings, and other experiential engagement experiences.
• Help develop presentations for company-wide business and organizational updates.
• Create personal and engaging social moments that illustrate leaders living our cultural values.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, marketing, communications, or related field.
• 6-8 years of experience in employee communications or executive communications.
• Experience in the IT and/or semiconductor industry helpful.
• Demonstrated talent for high quality writing and content development, with samples to share.
• Demonstrated experience crafting and delivering compelling employee engagement content, experiences and events.
• Demonstrated consistently strong organization and program management skills; experience in change management and corporate culture is a plus.
• Advanced knowledge and understanding of employee communications methodologies, tools and vehicles.
• Exceptional written communication skills, outstanding research and analytical skills, and skills in conceptual editing, copy editing, and proofreading.
• Love for storytelling and creating socially driven content that drives participatory change.
• Inventive, ambitious and able to independently prioritize shifting workloads in a fast-growing, ever-changing environment.
• Excellent listening and interpersonal skills.
• Strong standout colleague with excellent communications skills who can work across teams to build consensus.
• Ability to work across multiple partners to build a consensus.
