Business Planning and Operation, Vaccines – TMS/Indochina/HK-TW MCO
The purpose of the role is to lead the Business Planning process and provide support to the MCO Head in collaboration with global, regional and country teams to help manage the cluster’s business priorities, strategic and financial plans development and ad hoc cross-functional projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES PLANNING
Coordinate the annual budget exercises for the MCO and ensure coherency of presentations to senior management. Work collaboratively with regional functions, global/regional and country teams to create accurate strategic and financial plans.
- Consolidate information and assist in preparing presentations to Sanofi Pasteur and Sanofi senior management.
- Regularly update the MCO Head of all the progress and challenges in the implementation of the regional and country strategies (vaccine launches, projects implementations…)
- Support strategic planning processes and ensure forecasting exercises are aligned with strategic plans
- Provide Sales forecasts and Demand assumptions for the MCO
- Validate :
- rolling forecasts to be updated in relevant systems on a monthly basis,
- a monthly report with major demand variations
- Liaise with local Controller in order to assess and monitor Demand risks and opportunities versus financial forecasts and validate local STs
- Assess country Demand & Supply risks and opportunities and escalate sensitivities to the Cluster Head
- Reconciliation between Demand planning and Regulatory activities
- Review Demand assumptions with local Regulatory contact and ensure matching of respective assumptions
- Allocation
- In case of constraint supply, build the rationale for the MCO Head decision process, and propose different scenarios to optimize sales and BOI, taking into account our commitments and image risks as public health partner
- Ensure with supply chain and Countries the smooth execution of the allocation as per the plan.
- Participate to the continuous improvement and simplifications of these processes
Project Management - Coordination of Commercial project, activities and resources
To ensure that the project stays on track. Active participation in the project drive and execution in collaboration with the local/HQ/regional teams involved
- In close collaboration with Project team, prepare appropriate analysis for external and internal project meetings
- Organize internal project meetings, ensure follow-up of the actions by the team members and stakeholders (internal/external)
- Keep close contact and a good collaboration with the teams (in HQ, region, countries) for the project execution (Legal, Regulatory, Franchise, IO...)
- Put in place performance indicators and ensure that key milestones and KPIs are tracked and adjusted accordingly
MANAGE COMMERCIAL ACTIVITIES
- Put in place, update regularly and follow up the tender calendar and anticipate preparation actions as appropriate
- Review tender specifications and analyze them
- Coordinate tender offer preparation in relation with relevant local and global functions
- Coordinate preparation of business cases with the countries for offers review and approval
- Support penalties assessment and negotiation as applicable
- Support the annual review of the Commercial conditions and
- Contribute to the drafting of the MCO governance document, ensure it is fully implemented and propose updates when needed
- Review monthly sales report
- Maintain a close relationship with the commercial teams in the MCO through meetings, phone calls and visits in order to ensure that all actions required are identified and implemented
- Ensure local application of commercial policy
- Liaise with local Controller to ensure preparation / update of commercial conditions for local validation before MCO validation
- Liaise with Customer Service to communicate applicable commercial policy / commercial offers and ensure implementation in Customer Service system

REQUIREMENTS - BS Science or Business, MS preferred
- MBA Finance/Marketing/international business preferred
- At least 4-5 years healthcare industry experience with strong project management skills
- Experience in a multicultural context
- Good communication skills and fluency in English
- Collaborate effectively with peers, stakeholders and partners across the organisation
- Make timely decisions based on the information available
- Strong ability to multitask
