Job description: JOB DESCRIPTION The main purpose of this function is to support the delivery, implementation and monitoring of effective marketing plans to engage with members and supporting student recruitment activities.
Job responsibilities: » Work with the Head of Marketing to develop, deliver and monitor effective and creative marketing and communications plans for areas of responsibility.
» Deliver and implement the strategy, as specified by the HoM, to support the marketing and communication campaigns to meet business objectives. Campaigns should use a variety of channels to promote resources, support and benefits to students.
» Develop ideas that help the business generate warm leads or drive enquiries for conversion and nurturing into sign-ups.
» Manage the student social media channels including: responding to enquiries, posting of events, and manage content, monitoring insights, increasing the level of engagement with students.
» Work on developing, delivering and suggesting significant content for microsite, marketing tools, and creating new success stories for student recruitment.
» Develop ideas to engage with members effectively which includes technical and thought leadership abilities events through maintaining high attendance rate and also positive feedback of each event.
» Input into and support the delivery of ad-hoc marketing projects and campaigns, assigned by the HoM.
» Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and develop relationships with external stakeholders, suppliers and agencies.
» Monitor the effectiveness of online / offline campaigns and all BTL advertising, POSM and collateral and make recommendations for activity to be ceased, adjusted, trialled or continuous investment.
» Monitor and review significant competitor activity and provide viable marketing solutions to improve local business/activities.
» Manage budget allocated and timescales set by the HoM for areas of responsibility.
» Act as a valued point of contact for marketing advice.
Appropriate qualifications:
» significant qualification in the area of marketing, digital marketing, communication or advertising
practice:
» Demonstrable practice in marketing communications, advertising, event management.
» Well-organised, methodical, efficient, confident, meticulous and a team player.
» A high standard of written English and the capability to write creatively and proof read are essential.
» Good project and time management expertise are a requisite for this function.
