Medtronic's Minimally Invasive Therapy Group (MITG), a business unit within Medtronic, is a $1.4b USD business within Asia Pacific region that focuses on breakthrough technologies and services in surgical solutions, renal care, respiratory, patient monitoring, and gastrointestinal & informatics.
A Day in the Life Provide executive-level assistance to the Sr. Director of the Business Development, Strategy and Partnerships (BDS&P). Daily activities include interaction with high-level executives and exposure to highly confidential and sensitive information requiring a high degree of integrity, professionalism, diplomacy, discretion and judgment. In addition, will provide administrative & project-based support for the BDS&P Department which consists of the APAC MITG Incubator Program's sub-businesses of Renal Care Solutions (RCS) and Gastrointestinal & Hepatology (GIH).
Project coordination & execution
- Delivering assigned projects, while adhering to policies, which many include project management, data analysis, data review & tracking, and PowerPoint creation
- Produce/edit business correspondence with attention to deadlines.
- Assist with various advisory boards, panels speaking engagements, and special projects.
- Working closely with internal departments to respond to inquiries and resolve general issues.
Administrative Support
- Applies knowledge of and experience in company operations to assist in the development, implementation and administration of program/system guidelines and procedures.
- Provides support to the MITG Incubator Businesses in administration, sales and marketing activities Contributes to the department's objectives, through building relationships and consensus to reach agreements on assignments.
- Schedule/organize meetings, conferences, special events, annual reviews, including the preparation of related documentation.
Support marketing initiatives
- Coordinating, implementing and/or attending marketing events with responsibilities related to public relations, product launches, special event management for the incubated sub-businesses
- Organizing and monitoring sales and marketing services and programs, Market data analysis.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
Additional Requirements - Post-secondary education at a college or university
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office
- Possess Superior time management, multitasking skills and the ability to prioritize tasks with a minimal supervision
- Have Excellent written and verbal communication, with strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Ability to work very well independently and participate as a key member of a team
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Flexible in managing change in a dynamic environment
- Medical device industry experience
- Bachelor's Degree but not a must
