Brief Description Oversees contract and Noble personnel to provide standardization and resources related to day-to-day activities pertaining to oil and gas measurement data accuracy, policies and procedures, guidelines, audit, reporting and interfacing of meter data. Liaises between contract personnel and field technicians and manages personnel responsible for processing and analyzing natural gas and LACT measurement data. Reviews processes and assures data integrity is at its highest level. Prioritizes work and directs resources in support of monthly gas measurement processes.
Detailed Description Provides support (system and analytical) to field personnel to help identifying trends and potential measurement anomalies.
Recommends and develops changes to measurement procedures and guidelines.
Resolves and coordinates when gas/oil volume discrepancies arise.
Works with IT to gather specifications and implement new software development, coordinate and test software upgrades.
Reviews system balance information and assure appropriate field personnel are tasked for review and correction.
Reviews and maintains calibration schedules and requirements and records within the gas/liquid maintenance repository.
Ensures the integrity of the measurement and volume interfaces to downstream business systems.
Assists in the development and implementation of various analytical information and reports needed to evaluate the accuracy of measurement data.
Assists in printing and distribution of various analytical information and reports needed to evaluate the accuracy of measurement data.
Reviews and validates field inspection reports.
Completes of the daily volume import and validation process and resolution of any issues.
Provides timely response to volume inquiries from audit, internal and external customers.
Helps ensure standardization with established standards and guidelines.
Provides documentation for new department procedures and processes or assist with the revision of existing documentation.
Helps to troubleshoot system problems and works with management and IT to resolve.
Performs special projects as directed by management.
Job Requirements Bachelor's Degree and typically requires 10 years measurement data editing, regulatory, field experience, production, and auditing experience
OR High School Diploma and 12 plus years of combined measurement data editing, regulatory, field experience, production, and auditing experience.
Regulatory and audit experience (strongly preferred)
Familiar with API Manual of Petroleum Measurement Standards (MPMS)
Exception based measurement data editing experience
Flow-Cal
Experience with system balancing, audit investigations and system loss & unaccounted for
Additional Details Normal office environment
Some field work on active job sites will be necessary; not performing physical work.
