NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Supervisor Benefits Configuration Analysis to join our team in Providence, Rhode Island (US-RI), United States (US).
Responsibilities - Supervises the Benefits Configuration team under the auspices of the Director of Benefits Configuration ensuring highest quality of service is provided to customers.
- Monitors performance of team and reports results and issues to higher-level leadership.
- Assists team with escalated customer or account issues. Assists in managing of the hiring, staffing and maintaining of a diverse and effective workforce
- Responsible for career development / planning, performance and pay discussions of team members.
- Interacts with customers and internal departments to resolve issues.
- Leads staff to complete assignments using established guidelines, policies and procedures.
- Demonstrates professional courtesy and represents the company in a positive manner in all areas of internal and external communications.
- Responsible for appropriate record keeping, required reports, and ensuring related administrative functions are correct and maintained.
- Compiles and analyzes data to identify trends for root cause analysis.
- Clients benefit setup for various clients across the BCBS spectrum of products
- Worked in Agile environment, attended daily stand up meetings, SCRUM meetings.
- Business requirements development and reviews(User Stories) with Director Account manager, Team lead, and coder
- Developed test scenarios/test cases based on user stories
Requirements - Minimum of 5 years of overall experience with configuration of systems work
- Experience with Benefit Information Management work
- Leadership and mentoring experience of on shore and off shore team dynamics
- Healthcare experience in claims, enrollment, benefits
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent or a combination of education and work experience
- Graduate degree is preferred
- Expert knowledge of claims processing systems and associated business processes and experience in the development of software configuration.
- Expert knowledge of CPT-4, ICD-9-CM, ICD 10 and medical terminology.
