Serves as a primary interface between the client and the Documentation function. Manages the development and update of Quality System documents and processes. Ensures proper impact assessment of proposed changes is conducted taking into account all controlled documentation and processes.
- Manages compliance and continuous improvement projects related to Quality System documentation
- Develops strategy for production of complex procedural documents involving cross-divisional teams
- Accountable for content design and logistics of multi-divisional documentation review and approval
- Provides client with understanding of AbbVie Quality System and its practical application. Includes providing support during audit and inspections
- Leads direct report employees and/or the oversight of contract/consultant personnel as needed
Required: - High School diploma or equivalent and 10 years equivalent experience OR Bachelor's Degree
- 10 years related experience with High School diploma, or 4 years related experience with Bachelor's degree
Preferred: - Bachelor's degree
- 2 years' experience
- 2 years' pharma, health care, or regulated industry experience
- Higher education may compensate for years of experience
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations, i.e. FDA and European Union
- Experienced in procedural design and Document Management Systems
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong oral and written communications skills
- Ability to independently perform Quality System documentation gap and impact analyses
