Assist the Resident Engineer(s) in supervisory and coordination for all M&E works on-site including compiling all necessary documents for RI, TOP and CSC inspectionsExpected to know the prevailing Building Control Act, Building Control Regulations and should be conversant with all the requirements concerning supervision, quality control, reports and other documentationReport to RE/QP and record any deviations from the contract or approved design/drawingsInspect drawings, documents and reports on discrepancies, on-site safety, security and general housekeepingMaintain accurate and timely work site progress records including signing off mandatory quality recordsMonitor and report on the progress of works as per contractor's approved program Handle contractors' queries, reports and verify claims within the provisions of the Building RegulationsCarry out and ensure that the inspection and taking over of completed works are in compliance to approved design, drawings and local authorities' requirements and regulations
Minimum Requirements Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical or Building Services Engineering or NCSSRegistered with BCA/IES as Clerk-of-Works/Resident Technical OfficerMinimum 5 years’ relevant site supervision and working experienceExperience in the supervision of M&E works in healthcare projects prior will be advantageous
