The primary responsibility for this role is to lead the growth of the commercial aftermarket and military business for the Eaton Aerospace in Asia Pacific region. This includes formulating and implementing sales strategy, management of existing customer relationships, developing new customers, appointing new distributors, agents and other business partners (local repair or manufacture) to penetrate the target market, as well as driving the performance of distributors/agents to achieve desirable business results. This exciting role offers opportunity to:
Lead all sales and marketing activities for APAC commercial Aftermarket and military Business.
Aggressively expand the pipeline of new opportunities for sustained growth.
Perform market trend/dynamics analysis as necessary, formulate and execute business strategy to achieve both short term and long-term business goals in the region.
Establish sales and order intake goals by customer and ensure these are tracked on a monthly basis, be intimately familiar with individual account goals vs. actual performance and have the ability to explain and report on these to senior management.
Understand customer perception of Eaton Aerospace and strive for continuous perception improvement. Promote Eaton Brand in Asia market through marketing communication, industry association participation and special events.
Management of existing customer relationships, developing new customers, appointing new distributors, agents and other business partners (local repair or manufacture) to penetrate the target market, as well as driving the performance of distributors/agents to achieve desirable business results.
Drive high Employee Engagement through outstanding leadership.
Qualifications With university degree and minimum 15-year experiences in the Aerospace Industry; MBA is preferred.
Full understanding of Asian country cultures.
Global knowledge of the aerospace and defense industry.
Excellent communications skills, verbal and written, with ability to make necessary status reports and technical presentations to Eaton management and customers.
Provides leadership and fosters teamwork among customers, and the various operating units.
Business acumen with strong analytical and synthesis skills leading to timely decision.
Ability to effectively manage multiple projects, relationships and leverage cross culturally diverse groups in a global enterprise.
Demonstrated ability to influence the directions and attainment of objectives without having direct control over resources.
