Facebook is looking for an analytical thinker with experience in Business or Content Policy to join our Product Policy Team as Product Policy Associate Manager for business-related product policies, specifically, commerce and payments. The team's mission is to create and communicate rules for how our products may be used by our constituents, including sellers, buyers, advertisers, developers, and all other people on Facebook.
As a Product Policy Associate Manager, you will work closely with a number of other teams at Facebook and Instagram, including our Policy Enforcement, Business Partnerships and Development, Legal, Communications, Product, and Public Policy teams. You will be responsible for understanding both Facebook and Instagram's business priorities, and helping our team craft and implement policies that best serve the company and the people who use our services in these markets.
Successful candidates will have experience in policy and/or policy enforcement and will be able to provide insights that will contribute to the shaping of commerce and payments-related policies for new and existing products across Facebook and the Facebook family of apps. You should be passionate about the services we provide and the people that we serve in all global markets.
This is a full-time position located in Singapore.
RESPONSIBILITIES Build relationships with and understand the perspectives of partners on internal teams such as Product, Public Policy, Business Partnerships and Development, Operations, Marketing, Communications and Legal
Help craft and implement commerce and payments- related policies for all global markets
Act as a global escalation point of contact and manage internal communications for policy issues
Help articulate policy philosophy, launches, and changes to relevant parties, including management, operations, and other internal and external stakeholders
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelors degree in Public Policy, Legal, Political Science, Business, Economics, or related field
6+ years of work experience in content or product policy, public policy, policy enforcement, or law
Experience developing policies, regulations, or standards related to Internet/social media/media content and product issues
Experience with analytics and problem-solving
Experience with project management and consensus-building across teams
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience in e-commerce and/or online payment systems
Experience with business partnerships and brand/product safety
Experience in online advertising
Experience with paid content and content monetization
