The Role- Senior Payroll Specialist
The Payroll Senior Specialist performs high level processing of paying employees and reviewing all data entered into payroll systems.
Job Responsibilities: - Responsible for reviewing and validating payroll files from payroll Vendors
- Support pre-payroll activities to ensure accurate and timely payment
- Perform thorough checking to maintain zero input errors from external vendors or internal stakeholders.
- Lead an effective partnership with internal Stakeholders, HR community and payroll outsourcing partners
- Key Liaison for the regions’ employees for any issues regarding their payroll matters
- Manage all day-to-day payroll operations for countries in APAC, Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, laws, company policies and procedures
- Verify attendance exceptions (e.g. time sheets/payroll, salary adjustments, tax deposits, etc.) onto the time track system for payroll processing.
- Review payroll results or outputs using established practices and procedures
- Assist with the management of funding in Payroll bank account to ensure no bank overdraft and sufficient fund for payroll cycle and payments are duly authorized and release timely.
- Review of Tax Returns, ensure timely and accurate Tax Filing submission/payment of statutory obligations.
- Maintain supporting payroll documentations and authorizations for internal and external audits such as Support Year-End Payroll processing activities - develop and provide payroll calendar, review year-end tax report
- Responsible for meeting the pre-determined payroll metrics and compliance requirements
- Provide support on payroll related projects and initiatives, as required
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, yearly regulatory and internal reviews and sign-offs
Requirements - Degree holder with minimum 7 years experience in payroll
- CPP Certification preferred.
