As a SSD PE Planning Lead in the NVE Group at Micron, you will be responsible for bringing new SSD products from initial design to high volume manufacturing. In this dynamic and key Micron position, you must adapt quickly to changing priorities and schedules as well as proactively communicate issues and present viable solutions to a large internal cross functional group to help insure proper execution. You will be responsible for regular performance feedback to team members, establish goals, development plans and provide opportunities to expand skills and promote growth.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Acting as a liaison between Manufacturing, NAND/NOR/DRAM PE, Supply Chain, Development and Business Operations
- Investigating and debugging issues related to builds, processes and shipments.
- Staying abreast of deliveries, issues, and forecasts, helping to drive upsides.
- Developing, implementing and continuously improving the NPI build process.
- Ensure necessary resources are assigned for the workload
- Represent SSD PE Planning in cross functional, corporate level planning related and governance board(s)
- Instruct on data presentation and techniques and ensure alignment across the team
- Assist with high visibility projects or escalation issues
- Create training plans and identify courses
- Coach and provide career development
- Identify strengths and create specific development plans to improve cross-functional skills
- Establish goals and conduct performance appraisals
- Provide recognition and drive accountability
- Develop project management skills within the team
Minimum Qualifications: - A minimum of four years' experience working with new product introductions, marketing or manufacturing planning.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to balance multiple projects.
- Ability to communicate clearly and accurately maintain build schedules with related details.
- Demonstrated skills to build good working relationships, collaborate with and lead cross functional groups.
- Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment and adapt to daily changes.
- Strong skill in investigating root-cause and providing corrective action.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, SharePoint and PowerPoint software.
- Good understanding of the component and module manufacturing process. (Preferred)
- Extensive knowledge of SAP Production Modules, Marketing Part Numbers, Demand planning, etc. (Preferred)
- Strong ability to meet deadlines, drive change and resolve conflicts.
Education Required: - A Bachelor's degree in Production Operations Management, Supply Change Management or equivalent experience.
