Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Supervisor Retail Inventory (1.0 FTE, Days) to work Retail Administration at Swedish Issaquah Campus in Issaquah, WA.
The Supervisor is responsible for working in partnership with the manager/ buyer- Gift Shops, manager/ buyer- Issaquah Boutique, and reporting to the Director of Retail. As Inventory Supervisor, you will be responsible to supervise, lead and coach a team of Stock Associates.
In this position you will:
Oversee day-to-day operations of merchandise stock and stock locations
Serve as an expert on and utilize inventory management software
Supervise inventory team (Stock Associates)
Manage and coordinate reception and distribution of inventory for the system
With inventory team, unpack merchandise from vendors, labels, and sorts merchandise to go to each campus
Check for shortages/overages, damages, incorrect order shipments and works with vendors to correct
Handle stock adjustments/carryover from year-to-year
Lead and coordinate annual inventory at each store and of stock storage locations
Set par levels and enters merchandise received into inventory management software system
Ensure distribution of merchandise between stores, which may include personal delivery as needed
Qualifications Required qualifications for this position include:
- High School (GED)
- Valid Washington State drivericense is required and ability to drive company vehicle
- A high level of computer literacy
- Willing to work very early morning, evening and weekend hours.
- Professional and respectful of self and others as well as customer service skills.
- Enthusiasm combined with a hands-on management style
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
2 years retail inventory experience preferred
A minimum of 1-2 years of prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred
