Description : IT Help Desk Supervisore of Mainetrongest financial institutions is seeking an individual to join our growing IT team. We have an opening for a full-time, year round IT Help Desk Supervisor. This position will troubleshoot, identify, advise and implement corrective action for computer related issues. Additionally, the Help Desk Supervisor will provide a variety of SDLC management, software installation, application admin support, and end-user support and training to ensure workstations and network performance meet company and employee expectations. This position is responsible for the supervision, coaching and training of help desk staff to meet department objectives in a positive, team-oriented approach. This position can be based in either Newport, NH, Ellsworth, ME, or Hampden, ME.
A college degree in Information Technology or a related field is preferred. A minimum of 5 years of related experience in Information Technology, Helpdesk Support, and Information Security is required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills is required, additionally the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel is strongly desired. Excellent customer service skills are expected. Must have a high degree of familiarity with Banking industry concepts and related technologies as well as an understanding of applicable regulatory requirements. Must have proven experience with demonstrated leadership skills. Strong independence with a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
