The Role Responsibilities & Our Ideal Candidate
Deliver against the financial framework
- Deliver against financial targets as set out in RM scorecard - Onshore & Network revenue, TB liabilities
- Improve Client Lite income through Cash & FX Flow
- Identify and capture Network opportunity to support internationally oriented clients; drive engagement between network corridors
Focus on clients, growth and drive cross bank collaboration
- Focus on NTB engine - BCA and Non BCA.
- ETB deepening - Identify clients for growth, alignment with Risk and product partners through "Journey to Budget" as part of CB "Next 50" initiative
- Execute refreshed ME strategy - Grow the segment through targeted client acquisition coupled with alignment of team resources. Increase market share in manufacturing and service sectors where risk returns are appropriate.
- One Bank focus: Private Banking and Employee Banking referrals - Finalize target client list and focus on execution
Strengthen foundations in risk and control
- Implement Commodities Traders framework
- Establish operating rhythm and drive better transparency & oversight in GSAM/ EAR accounts through alignment between coverage, Risk & GSAM colleagues.
- Minimise accounts moving into GSAM without 90days in EAR. Perform portfolio deep dives through ongoing engagement with Credit and GSAM
- Participate in defining target portfolio standards/shape for CB overall and embed regular monitoring at portfolio level
Improve efficiency & productivity
- RWA optimization through collateralization, product mix and asset distribution capabilities, Review top sub-optimal names and formulate strategy with product partners to improve returns
- Improve credit turnaround time
- Improve management of tail accounts
Embed innovation, digitisation, and analytics
- Drive adoption of digital capabilities - Workbench by the RMs and S2B utilization.
- Increase SCALE adoption by clients.
- Leverage data analytics to generate new leads and cross-sell opportunities for existing clients
- Increase S2B penetration and utilization.
FDG - Delivery of Fair Dealing Outcomes to Customers
- Align policies and practices in Commercial Banking to the fair dealing outcomes
- Implement the fair dealing strategy and work plan in Commercial Banking
Conduct
- Take the lead to foster a strong compliance culture by taking ownership of inculcating the desired conduct, values and behaviours
FCC
- Exercise effective oversight in the management of Financial Crime Risk. Proactively identify gaps and issues in the FCC controls, and perform bottom-up review on the existing controls and processes to ensure compliance with MAS Notice 626 (including Lessons Learned from MAS inspection, GIA, external auditors, CMR and FCC Assurance's observations)
